Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy
Last Updated: January 2025
Purpose
Royal Forex is committed to preventing money laundering and the financing of terrorism through our services. This Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy outlines the measures we take to detect, prevent, and report suspicious activity.
Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
We conduct customer due diligence on all new and existing clients, which includes:
- Verifying client identity using government-issued identification documents
- Collecting information on the client's source of funds and wealth
- Understanding the nature of the client's intended transactions
- Monitoring ongoing transactions for suspicious activity
Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)
For high-risk clients — including politically exposed persons (PEPs), clients from high-risk jurisdictions, and those with complex ownership structures — we apply enhanced due diligence measures.
Suspicious Activity Reporting
Where we suspect that a transaction may be related to money laundering or terrorist financing, we are obligated to report such activity to the relevant authorities in accordance with applicable laws.
Record Keeping
We maintain records of all transactions, customer identification documents, and AML reports for a minimum period as required by applicable law (typically 5-7 years).
